    • Meeting Time: 2nd Monday of each month, 5:45 to 7:45 pm THE IN PERSON SUPPORT GROUP MEETING HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH AN ONLINE ONE USING ZOOM. For more information, contact Donna Stamper at 603-863-2621 or email her at dstamp4@comcast.net for specifics on how to participate. (Note: the monthly Wednesday evening support group meetings have been discontinued effective February 26, 2020.)

    • Groups are led by a trained volunteer facilitator who is a family member. Through affiliates around the state, NAMI NH offers supports groups to family members and parents who have a loved one with mental illness. (Note: This resource guide is the project of a few members of the Lebanon support group.)

    • Group is led by trained volunteer facilitators who are consumers in recovery. The purpose of the group is to bring consumers together to learn from and support one another in their recovery journey.


  • The local NAMI NH support group for families maintains this web page to provide current information about mental health resources available in the Upper Connecticut River Valley (NH towns: Claremont, Cornish, Plainfield, Lebanon, Hanover, Newport, New London, Grantham, Lyme, Orford; VT towns: Springfield, Hartland, Hartford, White River Junction, Wilder, Norwich, Thetford, Fairlee, Bradford). We do not have all the answers you seek and cannot guarantee a successful outcome for your loved one, but we can share what we’ve learned about the agencies, organizations, and programs that offer help and support in what can be a long and lonely journey.     • An online guide by NH's Department of Health and Human Services to diverse services in NH, including: finding services, caregivers, developmental disability services, elderly services, payment for services options, places to live, medicaid, mental/emotional/behavioral health, legal rights, drug/alcohol concerns, transportation, and veteran/military supports.
  • Service Link, 1-866-634-9412 toll free
    • ServiceLink is a program of the NH Department of Health and Human Services. Through contracts with local agencies around the state, ServiceLink helps individuals access and make connections to long term services and supports, access family caregiver information and supports, explore options and understand and access Medicare and Medicaid. ServiceLink is designated as New Hampshire’s Aging and Disability Resource Center and the NHCarePath Full Service Access Partner providing services for individuals of all ages, income levels and abilities and administers programs and services such as Information Referral and Assistance, Options Counseling, NH Family Caregiver Program, State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), and Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP)

    • 2-1-1 NH connects callers at no cost, to information about critical health and human services available in their community. NH citizens can call 2-1-1 and speak to an information and referral specialist.
  • NH Guide for Accessing Addiction & Mental Health Services
    • Recognizing there is a growing need to educate consumers with health insurance coverage in New Hampshire about how to navigate addiction and mental health care services, the University of New Hampshire School of Law and UNH’s Institute for Health Policy and Practice, in collaboration with the nonprofit New Futures, have developed a guide to help individuals and families in the state access addiction and mental health care services.
